Catching The Ancient Lights from South Carolina: Blake Behrends
From a small, historic southern town near Charleston, South Carolina, Blake Behrends works in the field of business continuity and disaster preparedness. He started pursuing astrophotography mid-2022 shortly after spring and captured his first image of the Andromeda Galaxy in August of the same year. His interest in astronomy began in the early 1990s when comet Hale Bopp made its pass through.

Drew Evans is featured in Astromaniac Magazine’s Spotlight. Drew is a passionate astrophotographer based in Arizona, US. Since he was a child, space and astronomy have always been a subject of discovery and learning for him. The ever-expanding discoveries in astronomy have always caught his attention. Being able to image the universe from his backyard has helped further engage his passion.
